[News] Reminder - Fuddruckers tonight with the Flute section

Another of our band trip fund raisers kicks off tonight at Fuddrucker's Restaurant at 6378 Mills Civic Parkway.

 

Please wear one of your band t-shirts/jackets or a Waukee shirt.  Please stand outside the store or in the lobby.  As your family members come or as other patrons come, let them know that you are raising funds for a band trip to Florida December 26 to January 2nd.  This is a perfect chance to ask your neighbors/relatives to eat out at Fuddrucker's.

 

If the customers tells the person taking their order that they would like to support the band, then 15% of their order will go into a fund for the band.  

 

I'm not sure if the purple sheets were handed out to the Flutes prior to Saturday (the sheets were on top of the drum cart outside the uniform room).

 

I was out of town and didn't see the final sign-up sheet in the band room.

 

If you cannot attend the night your section is assigned, just pick another night - all money will be split among those participating from July 6 to September 28th.

7.Fuddruckers For Florida  A few times per month from July 6th to September 2th, we will have members of our band at the Fuddruckers restaurant in West Des Moines (6378 Mills Civic Parkway – phone 225-1122)) to promote the Florida band trip.  The restaurant will donate 15% of the bill for any patrons who tell the person taking their order that they want to help the Waukee Regiment get to Florida.  Students working each evening will split the funds donated for the band trip.  It is suggested that the students/parents wear one of their band or Waukee t-shirts/jackets each evening.
This will be a great opportunity for the band members to work together and for the parents to get to know each other.  Invite your neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else to eat at the restaurant these nights.
Sign up to verify attendance 5-9 PM each date:
July 6th – Members of the Flute Section 
 
July 20th – Members of the Clarinet Section- Connor McDermott, Deb McDermott
 
August 3rd – Members of the Saxophone Section – Courtney Olmscheid
 
August 17th – Members of the Trumpet Section- Erin Maltby, Jan Maltby, Zach Olmscheid, Jill Maltby
 
August 31st – Members of the Trombone Section – Brett Wittmuss, Anna Wittmuss
 
September 14th – Members of the Percussion Section- Jan Maltby, Brad Page, Justin Page
 
September 28th – Members of the Low Brass and other sections not covered above – Kyle Stratton
 
Flags sign up with their band instrument section or on 9-28. Show Choir students can go an earlier date and so can students who can’t go the day of their section.
