Calendar of Events
2007-2008

We ask that you mark your calendars with these dates as it is vital that your children attend. Each performance is an opportunity for you to see what your children are learning in band.

Each child plays an important role in the performances. Please show your support for your children by attending the performances. We understand that illness and emergency situations occur.

Please communicate any performance scheduling conflicts as far in advance as possible. The schedule is as follows:

December

TBA Concert in the Waukee Elementary Gym during the school day. This will be like a small school assembly to show off everything we have learned so far. All 5th grade band parents are welcome to attend at their convenience.

April 14 
Fifth Grade Fine Arts Night, 6:30 p.m. in the Waukee High School Auditorium. 5th grade music and band will be featured at this concert.

April 24  
Fifth Grade Band Solo Night, beginning at 3:45 PM, at Waukee Elementary. Each student will perform a solo with a piano accompanist.

I will be looking for other opportunities to showcase your student's talent and will communicate other optional performances as they become available.
